Mission Statement
The Gainesville Community Choir Inc. is a community choir in Gainesville, VA whose mission is to enrich, educate, and entertain those in the community through intentional community-building and rehearsals that develop and support musical excellence.

The Board of Directors of the Gainesville Community Choir Inc. believes that both vocal technique and expression are essential to progress toward musical excellence. We incorporate lessons in vocal technique and music literacy into our weekly rehearsals, and strive to thoughtfully impact the hearts and souls of our audiences and the surrounding communities.
Rehearsals & Performances

We rehearse during the spring and fall seasons (Jan-May and late Aug-Dec) on Tuesdays, 6:30PM-8:00PM at Gainesville Presbyterian Church, performing concerts in May and December. In addition, we have sung for assisted living facility residents, shoppers at the Manassas Mall, and onstage at the Filene Center in the annual Wolf Trap Holiday Sing-A-Long.

Founded in January, 2013 and nearly doubling in size our first year, we now maintain a steady membership of 75-90 voices. GCC is a non-profit 501c3 organization and a member of the Prince William County Arts Council.

Our singers come from all levels of musical experience, training, and background. We come together to celebrate God’s gift of music, and we find great joy in singing together and sharing our music with the communities of Northern Virginia.
